Aircraft tyre servicing equipment, tyre pressure gauges and tyre inflators used by 40% of airlines daily!

Aircraft tyre pressure gauges

Three main variants, 160 psi used for light aircraft and corporate aircraft tyres, 260 psi used for commercial aircraft tires and 500 psi for large widebodied aircraft, freighters and military transport plane tires. Tire gauges are supplied with a different tire valve special to each aircraft, are calibrated to within 1% and come with full calibration warranty and certification.

Aircraft tyre inflators

Tyre inflation equipment includes tyre inflators and inflation hose. They come as a single unit or in kit form. 140 psi or 350 psi calibrated to 1.5% tolerance with aluminium cast body and internal felt filter to eliminate debris from getting into the tyre. Fast, safe and easy to use they have custom made inlet and outlet fittings according to the aircraft they are intended for. A 2m. long hose ensure a safe working distance and flexibility of working. The connectors screw on and do not clip. The inflators can also be used as aircraft tire deflators.

Nitrogen regulators and supply hoses.

Newbow nitrogen supply hoses are steel double-braided and any length and certified to 6000 psi. for connecting to Newbow nitrogen or oxygen regulators. The nitrogen regulators come in 4 models, 400 psi capped specifically for tyre inflation, 1500 psi, 2500 psi and 3500 psi. They can have single scale dials or dual dials and will fit all UK or EU nitrogen cylinders.

Aviation oxygen regulators are also in a range from 100 to 3500 psi and are specially cleaned for oxygen use.

Aircraft strut servicing equipment.

To enable charging or deflating of aircraft struts, aircraft constant pressure accumulators or aircraft hydraulic accumulators used in aircraft hydraulic control systems, from 800 psi to 3500 psi, calibrated to a 1% reading, supplied with full certification and with a precision needle valve. Newbow strut servicing equipment has an exhaust relief valve to vent gas form the line which prevents any loss from the accumulators. The valves can be customised and 2m length hose is standard.

Portable charging units PCUs

Suitcase sized PCUs are available, consisting of cylinder, regulators and inflation apparatus. It is a self-contained inflation kit, lightweight and portable, for aircraft struts and aircraft hydraulic accumulators, nitrogen or oxygen use, for 0 to 350 psi.

Aircraft air jacks

Air jacks that take gas from the aircraft tyres mean that no separate gas source is required. Newbow aircraft air jacks are supplied with hose and needle valve regulators and, again, with custom attachments according to which aircraft they are intended.

Aircraft tyre deflators.

These deflect the gas away from the technician and can be used as transport plugs when the wheel is in transit.

Newbow tyre deflators (as opposed to tyre inflators) come in 2 types, one of which allows you to preset to 50 psi.

Aircraft tyre valve tools.

Tyre tools include tyre valve core removal tools and tyre valve thread refurbishing tools.

Military aircraft gse

Mil spec aircraft air pressure gauges enjoy manufacture to NATO spec and have full NATO stock numbers. Newbow gse bespoke manufacturing culture allows for custom ground maintenance solutions, for example, BAE Systems asked Newbow to design a specialist low pressure strut charging kit the BAe Hawk. Their facilities allow rengineering for compatibility. All their products are adaptable.

Aircraft wheel chocks

As well as the the engineering, Newbow supply aircraft rubber wheel chocks of  solid rubber manufacture with ribbed edges plus the option of reflective strips.

Aircraft LED maintenance lighting.

There are 3 versions of the Newbow aircraft maintenance lighting, the handheld single LED head containing 72 LEDs, the pull along case with 2 x extendable heads and the versatile 4 x extendable heads version, extendable by a shaft up to 2m., rotating light through 360 degrees and fully waterproof. They can be recharged from the mains or a vehicle.

Hi-vis clothing.

Newbow hi-vis clothing is available in the full range from waistcoat through full length coat to trousers, class 3 hi-vis clothing (highways and railway) with full CE certification.
